Air in, ash out: sorted at the bottom.

Right at the bottom are the ash drawer and the stainless steel vent slider. Together with the top controller, that slider regulates the air supply, and with it the temperature.

The ash is collected in the ash drawer, so your kamado is quickly ready for the next session.

Cook on several levels at once: move grates and heat deflectors to the height that suits your cook, and combine direct grilling with indirect cooking.

Two half stainless steel grates and two half cast iron grates. Cast iron for intense heat and sear marks, stainless steel for controlled cooking. Combine them to suit what's on the fire.

Two half-moon deflectors made of 8 mm ceramic. They shield your food from the direct flame and turn your kamado into an oven for smoking, slow cooking and baking.

The open structure pushes air around the coals, so your kamado reaches temperature faster and burns more steadily. To refresh, simply lift the basket out.

With the cast iron top controller on your kamado and the stainless steel bottom vent slider, you set the temperature precisely. Searing hot or slow cooking: you're in control.

The wide wooden handle opens the lid smoothly and safely. The warm wood contrasts with the matte black ceramic and completes the design.

What's the difference with the Pro III?

The Pro II is a series in its own right: it has the same ceramic and the same fiberglass gasket as the Pro III, but no heavy-duty trolley and fewer accessories in the box.

How much charcoal does it use?

Less than you're used to from an open barbecue. The ceramic holds the heat, so one filled firebox gets you through a long session.

Can I bake on it too?

Yes, with a heat deflector you work indirectly and use the kamado as an oven, for example for pizza, bread or a cake.

Do I have to assemble it myself?

Yes. The kamado comes in parts with the required tools and instructions. Allow about half an hour of work with two people.
