Privacy Policy
How Grill Bill handles your personal data — what we collect, why, who we work with and what rights you have.
What we collect and why
To properly process your order, we collect a number of details. We briefly explain why we need certain data from you: name and address, e-mail, IP address and payment details.
Name & address
Name, address and city. We need this information so the parcel courier from PostNL or Bpost knows where to go.
You'll receive an order confirmation, shipping confirmation and invoice from us by e-mail. We'll also ask you by e-mail to review us/the product and — with your consent — deliver newsletters and offers to your digital inbox. Would you rather not receive newsletters and offers? Unsubscribing is quick and easy: you can do this at the bottom of the newsletter itself. Of course, you can also let customer service know that you no longer wish to receive anything.
IP address
We recognise you in our webshop by your IP address. This allows us to remember your preferences and give you suitable advice. By remembering your IP address, we also make sure no one else uses your personal account at Grill Bill.
Payment details
You can pay for your order with us in a secure payment environment. If you pay by iDEAL or bank transfer, your details are sent to the secure environment of Pay.nl. We only use your bank account number if you receive a refund from us. If you pay by credit card, we send your credit card details directly from our secure environment to Pay.nl. They process our credit card payments; we never see your credit card details — Pay.nl only tells us whether your payment was successful. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Pay.nl with strict arrangements about what they may retain; they may not use the data for other purposes.
Exact Online
Grill Bill's administration is kept in Exact Online. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Exact Online with strict arrangements about what they retain. Exact Online may not use the data for other purposes.
This is what else we do with your data
Commercial spam from who-knows-who makes nobody happy — us included. That's why we don't share your data with third parties. What we do do:
Customer service
We track how visitors and customers use our website and offer customer service via chat, phone and/or e-mail. For this we use your name and address details, invoice address, IP address, phone number, e-mail address and, where applicable, your profile photo. We do this based on your consent, with a data processing agreement and strict arrangements. We retain this information for up to 6 months after the last contact moment and/or after the end of the service provided to you.
Account
Your personal Grill Bill account holds your details. By remembering this, you don't have to fill everything in again each time.
Newsletters
You can sign up for our newsletters. Would you rather not receive newsletters anymore? You can unsubscribe at any time — in the newsletter itself or via customer service.
Reviews
By writing a review you help other customers get a better picture of Grill Bill and its products.
Promotions
Are you taking part in a Grill Bill giveaway? Then we need your details to contact you in case you win.
Advice, tailored to you
By visiting our webshop, liking us on social media or placing an order, we get to know you better. We do our best to show you useful ads and help you find great offers. Want to know more about this? Have a look at which cookies we use.
Improvements
The better we know our customers, the better we can respond to their wishes. By tracking customer behaviour — such as number of clicks, pages visited, zooming in and out — we can create content that suits you.
Personal data belongs to you
Would you like to view, change or delete your data? That's possible. You can do this via your personal account or by contacting customer service. If you believe we're not properly protecting your data and you can't resolve this with our customer service, you have the right as a customer to file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch data protection authority, AP).
Do you have questions, comments or complaints? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.
