Warranty per series
The warranty depends on the series of your kamado. The ceramic is equally thick in all three series; the Pro models get a longer warranty when you follow the Academy.

10-year warranty on the ceramic. The Classic does not qualify for the extension through the GB Academy. - Up to 20 years

If you own a Pro II or Pro III, we register the extension automatically as soon as you have completed the Academy. From then on, the ceramic is covered for 20 years instead of 10.

Every Grill Bill comes with a 10-year warranty on the ceramic. On the Pro II and Pro III that becomes 20 years when you complete the free GB Academy. That is why we say: up to 20 years' warranty.
Do I also get 20 years of warranty on a Classic?
No. The Classic has a 10-year warranty on the ceramic. The extension to 20 years through the GB Academy only applies to the Pro II and Pro III.
Do I need to apply for the extension to 20 years myself?
No. As soon as you have completed the GB Academy, we register the extra warranty on your Grill Bill automatically.
Does the GB Academy cost anything?
No, the GB Academy is free. It is a set of online courses on cooking with a kamado, which you follow wherever and whenever you like.
