Monolith's chip feeder lets you add smoking wood while the kamado stays closed, so you don't lose temperature. With us you open the lid to add wood — a minor effort, but Monolith solves it more cleverly.

Why doesn't Monolith publish a warranty term for other parts?

We don't know for certain — we haven't been able to find Monolith's official warranty documents publicly and concretely for metal and other parts, nor for transferability to a second owner. Rather than guess, we honestly list this as 'not specified'. If you want certainty on this, ask Monolith directly before buying.

Who gives the best warranty on the ceramic?

Both brands give a long warranty on the ceramic: Monolith limited lifetime, we give 10 years and 20 years once you complete our free online course. On the other parts we demonstrably give 3 years; we couldn't find that term from Monolith.

Why do I need to take a course for 20 years of warranty?

Because most damage to a kamado happens in the first few months, from things nobody tells you. Firing up too fast, extinguishing it the wrong way, opening the lid at the wrong moment. Our free online course teaches you exactly that, and since we started offering it we've seen less damage. The course costs no money, just some time. Complete it and we double the term on the Pro II and Pro III.

Can I transfer the warranty if I sell my kamado?

Not with us: our warranty applies to the first owner only. Whether Monolith's warranty is transferable we couldn't find a clear answer to — check with Monolith directly if that's a deciding factor for you.

Which size should I choose?

For most households the Large is the right choice: enough for six to eight people. Monolith's TWO.55 (44 cm, up to 6 people) is slightly smaller than our Large models (47 cm, up to 8 people). Looking for more capacity, our XL and Monolith's TWO.66 are both 52 cm — exactly matched, with a considerable price difference. Our Small at € 189 is mainly meant as a tabletop model or for a balcony.

Can I see a Grill Bill in person somewhere?

By appointment in Eindhoven. Monolith, like us, sells directly from the manufacturer, so they too have no dealer network with showrooms across the country. With us, in any case, you're in direct contact with the people who make the appliance, even after your purchase.
