A kamado rain cover 16 inch keeps your Grill Bill dry and clean while it's standing outside. Bill's Raincoat is tailored to this size, so it fits snugly around the appliance and won't flap around once the wind picks up. You pull it on in a few seconds once you're done firing up, and off just as fast.
When to use the kamado rain cover 16 inch
If your appliance sits idle for a week or longer, the cover is the difference between a clean cooking chamber and a layer of dust, leaves and bird droppings. It's also little effort to throw it on between two sessions. The ceramic itself doesn't suffer from a rain shower, but the fittings, hinges and visible parts clearly stay looking good longer when they stay dry.
- Tailored to the 16 inch Grill Bill, so no loose-hanging fabric
- Protects against rain, dust, leaves and garden debris
- Keeps fittings and hinges looking good longer
- Handy for longer idle periods of around seven days or more
- Quick to pull over your kamado and remove again
Using the cover sensibly
Always let your kamado cool down completely before putting the cover on. Don't pull it over a wet kamado either: the damp air can't escape, which causes stains and musty smells. Let it dry off or wipe it down first, then cover it.
Maintenance
Store the cover dry once you take it off. If it's dirty, rinse it with lukewarm water and let it dry hanging up. Don't use aggressive cleaning products, as they damage the water-repellent coating.
