This leather grill apron is the thoughtful version of the Grill Bill apron: Italian leather in a warm cognac colour, made in the Netherlands, with the logo and initials branded in. The difference from the base version lies in two details you only appreciate once you're standing at the kamado often: the loop for your tea towel and the longer hem on the right side.
Why this leather grill apron is different
You hang your tea towel from the leather loop, so you're not losing it every time you lift a hot pan off the grate. Because a used tea towel picks up grease and soot, the apron is made longer at your right knee: the towel then hangs against the leather instead of against your trousers. A small detail, a big difference after an afternoon of firing up.
- Italian leather in cognac, worked in the Netherlands
- Asymmetric hem, longer at your right knee
- Leather loop for your tea towel
- Soft drape thanks to a special leather treatment
- Grill Bill logo and initials branded in
- Protects against grease spatter and flying sparks by the fire
How to keep the leather looking good
Wipe the apron after use with a dry or slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Store it dry and out of direct sunlight, so the leather stays supple and doesn't discolour unevenly. The washing machine and dryer are strictly off limits. Dab a grease stain and let the rest soak in: that's simply part of the patina leather builds up.
Prefer that straight, symmetrical version, check out the standard leather apron. Both sit side by side at the bbq aprons, and the rest of your gear is at the bbq accessories.
