This 3-piece kitchen knife set covers the three tasks that keep coming back: chopping and cutting with the chef's knife, in-between work with the utility knife and fine work with the paring knife. Anyone setting up a kitchen, or wanting to move on from cheap cutlery, gets a complete base in one purchase.
All three knives are forged and have an olive wood handle. They come sharp out of the box, so you can start straight away on prep for the kamado or dinner.
- Chef's knife for chopping vegetables and portioning larger pieces
- Utility knife for tomatoes, cheese, sausage and rolls
- Paring knife for peeling, trimming and cutting shapes
- Forged steel, running through into the handle
- Same series, so all three knives sit the same in the hand
Who this 3-piece kitchen knife set is for
For anyone who wants a solid base without thinking about what to combine, and for anyone who wants to build up their knives step by step. The Olive Forged series continues with, among others, a boning knife, a santoku and a carving fork, all with the same handle.
Maintenance
Hand wash in warm water, dry immediately and store loose on a magnetic strip or in a block. Not in the dishwasher: the olive wood dries out and the edge dulls faster. Hone the knives regularly on a honing steel, and you'll only need to sharpen a few times a year.
Bill's tipAlways cut on wood or plastic. A board of glass or stone dulls a forged edge within a handful of cuts, however good the steel is.
Browse the rest of the knife collection, add a wooden chopping board, and keep the edges in shape with one of the Horl knife sharpeners.
